What factors should be considered in CNC lathe processing

Time:2021-04-09 Views:251

CNC lathes, also known as CNC lathes, are the most widely used CNC machine tools in my country. CNC machine tools are mechatronics products that integrate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, microelectronics and information technology. This is a machine with high precision, high efficiency, high automation and high flexibility.

The technical level of CNC lathe manufacturing enterprises and the percentage of their output and total ownership of metal cutting machine tools is one of the important indicators to measure the overall level of a country’s economic development and industrial production. It occupies a very important position in CNC machine tools, has been paid attention to by countries all over the world for decades, and has been rapidly developed.

Manufacturers of CNC lathes should consider the following:

What factors should be considered in CNC lathe processing(图1)

A. The geometric conditions of the part contour formation: in the turning manual programming process, the coordinates of each node are calculated; in the automatic programming process, all geometric elements constituting the part contour are defined.

B. Form and position accuracy requirements: The form and position tolerances given on the part drawing are an important basis for ensuring the accuracy of the parts. In the processing process, the positioning datum and measurement datum of the part should be determined according to the requirements of the part, and some technical processing should be carried out according to the special needs of the CNC lathe to effectively control the shape and position accuracy of the part. section.

C. Material and heat treatment requirements: The material and heat treatment requirements given on the parts drawing are the basis for selecting tools, CNC lathe models and determining the amount of cutting.

D. Surface roughness requirements: Surface roughness is an important requirement to ensure the surface micro-precision of parts, and it is also the basis for reasonable selection of CNC lathes, cutting tools and determination of cutting parameters.

E. Dimensional accuracy requirements: Analyze the dimensional accuracy requirements of the part drawing, determine whether it can be achieved through the turning process, and determine the process method to control the dimensional accuracy. During this analysis process, some size conversions can be performed at the same time, such as incremental size, absolute size, and size chain calculations.
